Last week I visited SHABD's beautiful home/studio space. She grew up within a sort of hippie family that wore mostly white from head to toe, Shabd's version of her own personal rebellion when she was younger was to tie-dye. She is still best known for these beautiful and colourful designs today. She's an artist, designer, teacher and just released her first book this year.
