When/how did you know you wanted to work in an artistic field?
When I was about 10 I would re-draw cartoon characters from the contact on my school books. I remember one day I drew Marvin the martian and I was like oh shit that looks exactly the same as the one on the book so I just started drawing everything I was in to. I grew up on the beach so all I did was surf, skate and read surf and skate magazines. I would spend all my time re-drawing brand logos in my art sketchbook, painting surfboards and skateboards and then in high school I started working on canvases and boards and kinda realised I wanted to do something creative.
Favorite song/band while working?
Wu-Tang
What's the best advice you've been given and from whom?
This Polish lady that owns the pharmacy up the road told me once while I was trying to choose between a cheap and an expensive deodorant “In my country we have the saying I’m too poor to buy cheap” it’s stuck with me, I also bought the more expensive one.
