Steve Lawler aka Mojoko: Remixing Art & Culture


Steve Lawler, also known as Mojoko, is a multidisciplinary artist based in Singapore. Originally from Iran, he was raised in Hong Kong and educated in Europe. Lawler’s work blends pop culture, B-movie aesthetics, and digital art, spanning across various mediums including interactive design, printmaking, and large-scale installations. He is the founder of Kult Studio and Gallery, a platform that showcases emerging and established artists. Lawler is also the co-founder of EYEYAH!, a creative platform focused on social impact. His distinctive style, often called “Trash Pop”, merges Asian and Western influences to create dynamic, thought-provoking visuals.
