ANNA KARLIN is a New York-based, English-born furniture, lighting, jewelry and object designer– though her studio practice also encompasses set design, digital design and layout. A multi-disciplinary creative, her pieces have a high-brow minimalist touch, with each medium informing the next one to produce truly exceptional design.

I first met Anna through a shoot for Whistles, and I decided to revisit her at her new studio in the Lower East Side, where she has created a homey, convivial working space for her team. At the time, she was pregnant with her first child– a glowing mother-to-be!
