In mid 2015 I found myself in Shanghai for an advertising shoot for Martell. 

Always being on the lookout for creatives to shoot while I am travelling, I was introduced to Viki Ling’s work by a friend. I was wowed, the artwork is so intricate and amazing. 

Vicki is one of my favourite drawing artists, her sensibility is so delicate it almost feels romantic. Reflecting back on our shoot, I just remember thinking how exquisite her art was, it truly moved me. In the short time I spent with Vicki, I found out that she grew up in China however honed her craft at Central Saint Martins in London. 

The emerging Chinese artist has been commission for record covers and has held solo and joint exhibitions throughout Europe.
